Who we are
Mercrest Group Inc. (“Mercrest”, “we”, “us”) is a technology consulting and engineering firm with its registered address at 1111B S Governors Ave, STE 34163, Dover, DE 19904, United States. We are the controller of personal information collected through this website.
Questions about this policy, or requests relating to your personal information, can be sent to mailbox@mercrest.com.
What we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us. Specifically, when you submit the contact form we receive:
- Your name and, if you provide them, your organization and phone number
- Your email address
- The area of interest you select and the message you write
- Your IP address, which is used transiently to rate-limit submissions and prevent automated abuse, and is not stored alongside your message
This website does not use advertising cookies, does not run third-party analytics or tracking scripts, and does not build a profile of your browsing.
Why we use it and on what basis
We use the information you submit for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry and, where a working relationship follows, to correspond with you about it. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries directed at us.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not add you to a marketing list on the basis of a contact-form submission.
Who we share it with
Inquiries are transmitted through our email delivery provider and stored in our corporate email system. These providers process the information on our instructions and under contract. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that do not lead to a working relationship are deleted within 24 months. Where an engagement follows, correspondence is retained for the duration of the relationship and for the period afterwards required by our legal, tax and professional obligations.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, to object to or restrict our processing of it, and to withdraw consent at any time. Residents of the EEA and UK have these rights under the GDPR; California residents have equivalent rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
To exercise any of these, email mailbox@mercrest.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
International transfers
We operate across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, and information you send may be processed in any of them. Where information is transferred out of the EEA or UK we rely on appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and submissions are transmitted encrypted in transit. Access to inquiry correspondence is limited to the people at Mercrest who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you not to send confidential or sensitive information through a web form — tell us it exists and we will arrange a secure channel.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
